About the Project
This illustration of Maa Kali is inspired by the terracotta temple plaques of Bengal, with stylistic and motif elements drawn from Alpana. I aimed to capture her fierce yet protective presence using bold forms, rhythmic lines, and symbolic details rooted in folk tradition. The composition celebrates divine energy through a blend of architectural influence and ritualistic design.
