Ghumparani- Lullaby

About the Project

This artwork is inspired by the soft intimacy of a lullaby—Ghumparani—a Bengali tradition where a mother sings her child to sleep. In this tender moment, the mother, too, begins to drift into slumber. The composition is influenced by a corner motif found on a terracotta temple panel, reinterpreting that quiet emotion through folk-inspired forms and storytelling.
