Ganesha Collection

A showcase of Lord Ganesha illustrated in different styles and at different times, each offering a unique interpretation of his form and symbolism. One piece is fully hand-drawn and painted, while the other is traditionally inked by hand and digitally colored.

Acrylic painting of Lord Ganesha inspired by a twilight cloud and decorated with Alpana folk motifs by Sweta Roy Choudhury.

Ganapati

This Ganapati illustration was inspired by a crimson-hued cloud I saw during twilight—it seemed to take the shape of Ganesha. I quickly sketched the form I envisioned and began building the composition with Alpana-inspired motifs and a soft, earthy colour palette in Procreate. Once I was satisfied with the layout, I switched to colored paper and painted the final piece with acrylic. This artwork is a blend of spontaneous inspiration and folk tradition, capturing divinity in a moment of sky-gazing.
